Xuyen A General Hospital

Established in 2012 by Xuyên Á Hospital Investment Joint Stock Company; the main campus in Củ Chi, Ho Chi Minh City, opened officially on 19 May 2014.

The system now has 4 hospitals: Ho Chi Minh City (Củ Chi - the main campus), Vĩnh Long, Tây Ninh (opened in August 2020) and Long An (opened in July 2021); it is a private general hospital providing specialist services (open-heart surgery, kidney transplantation, cardiac intervention, neurosurgery) for the southern region and the Mekong Delta.

The oncology unit signed a formal technology-transfer agreement with Bệnh viện Ung Bướu TP.HCM (Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital) on 15 April 2024; it has a separate Palliative Care and Cancer Treatment Centre, operating since 14 August 2018.

Scale of the Củ Chi campus: 750 inpatient beds, an area of 36,000 m², 36 consulting rooms, 9 operating theatres, more than 2,700 outpatient visits and 1,500 admissions per day.

Elekta Versa HD linear accelerator, supporting 3D-CRT, IMRT, VMAT, radiosurgery (SRS/SBRT) and electron beam radiotherapy.

A 4D CT simulator with OncoQuant, Lung VCAR and Hepatic VCAR software; 16-slice SPECT/CT; MRI dedicated to oncology.

Multimodal treatment: surgery (thyroid, breast, lung, liver, colorectal), chemotherapy, radiotherapy, immunotherapy.

160-slice multislice CT (MSCT) with 3D reconstruction; 1.5T MRI.

The team includes Assoc. Prof. Dr Bùi Chí Viết - Deputy Director for Clinical Affairs of the Xuyên Á Hospital System and formerly Head of Surgery Department 4 at Bệnh viện Ung Bướu TP.HCM, with more than 40 years of experience in oncology.
