FV Hospital (Hy Vong Cancer Center)

Bệnh viện FV (FV Hospital, the Franco-Vietnamese Hospital) was the first foreign-invested hospital in Vietnam, established in 2003 in Ho Chi Minh City on a French-style international standard of care; it was acquired by Thomson Medical Group (Singapore) in January 2024.

Trung tâm Ung bướu Hy Vọng (Hy Vong Cancer Center) is a centre of excellence in oncology, providing cancer surgery, radiotherapy and medical oncology together with supportive and palliative care under a multidisciplinary model. Led by Dr Basma M'Barek, it has been running for more than 15 years with documented long-term survivors (5/10/15 years).

FV positions the Hy Vong Cancer Center as delivering care of a quality comparable to Bumrungrad (Thailand), Prince Court (Malaysia) and Mount Elizabeth (Singapore) at around half the cost.

CyberKnife S7 robotic radiosurgery system (installed in 2025 — the first in Vietnam and Southeast Asia; with integrated AI for real-time tumour tracking and sub-millimetre accuracy) treating tumours of the brain, head and neck, lung, breast, spine, liver, kidney, pancreas, prostate and gynaecological organs.

Elekta Infinity linear accelerator with VMAT; SPECT-CT nuclear medicine.

Multidisciplinary tumour boards; minimally invasive and robot-assisted cancer surgery.

Oncology social work, clinical psychology, pain control and nutritional support; collaboration with HCG (the largest specialist cancer hospital network in India).
